I am a budding herbalist who has been studying Western herbs for 10 years.  I have lived in every geographical region of the United States and currently reside in the South.  I started my own local tea company where I blend herbal teas of many kinds and package them sustainably. I teach courses on herbal remedy making locally and make many of my own remedies for my friends and family.

My first HubPages will be a series of articles on DIY Herbal Remedies so that you can learn how to make your own remedies and start on your own path to becoming an herbalist.

As my screenname suggests, I am the mother of a 2yo and have enjoyed making many remedies for my daughter.  Chamomile tea for bedtime, ear oil for ear infections, diaper ointments and cold/cough syrups.  One of her first words was "tea."  She loves being outside close to plants and animals - even while in the middle of the city.  Truly inspiring.
